What can I say except that you guys have kept us busy throughout this whole month with all your travel questions and we are LOVING it. So please do keep those questions coming in if not most of us will be out of a job.

Below are just some of the questions that came our way and should you have any other travel related questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at editor@itchytraveller.com

I’ll be going on my first trip to Bangkok with my girlfriend this September. Are there any unique boutique hotels that are located near the city centre and all the famous shopping malls and still intimate enough for a romantic night in?

Marcus Ng (Singapore)

I would recommend the Seven Hotel which has only 6 uniquely designed rooms, each with a character of their own. Located at 3/15 Sukhumvit 31,Bangkok 10110 Thailand, it is near to the major shopping belts of Bangkok.

Another choice would be Shanghai Inn with it’s chinoise style rooms reminiscent of 1920s Shanghai, it’s red grandeur is opulent. This hotel is situated within Chinatown and would afford another experience to your stay in Bangkok.

As you did not cover Malaysia on your month long nightlife special, I was wondering if there are any places worth visiting after hours when I come down to Malaysia for a stopover in a week’s time.

Mohit R. (India)

Like most Asian cities, Malaysia’s nightlife can be rather diversified and ever changing. The best place to actually experience the best of what Malaysia has to offer in term of clubbing, then just head down to KL where all the fashionable clubs and bars are located. I would personally recommend you visiting the “Asian Heritage Row” off Jalan Doraisamy in Kuala Lumpur. It’s definitely the current place to see and be seen in Kuala Lumpur. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
