1. The Huayi 2008 (Chinese Festival of the Arts) performances that showcase the diversity of the Chinese culture as they celebrate the new year of the Rat. This festival runs from the 8th-17th of February 2008.

2. Esplanade Presents On The Waterfront: Indie Indeed which is a showcase of some of Singapore’s homegrown bands and these performances run from the 22nd-24th of February.

3. Esplanade Presents Introducing: Desperate. This is a 30 minute set by a Singapore idol alumni who is showcasing her raw vocals and heartfelt lyrics for all to hear. This rare glimpse into the world of Daphne Khoo is on 26 Feb 08, Tuesday,
12.45pm at the Concert Hall.

Another event that you should definitely check out is the National University of Singapore Arts Fest 2008. There are over 100 events taking place at the university’s campus over February and March.
